New discovery of a large ship, bright lights, thrusters of unknown technology, the case has been moved to stage 3. There’s been a lot of all-hands-on-deck meetings over this. And in a few hours the military is planning to send out first scouting missions. Hard to believe this is actually happening. 

Everyone has been on edge ever since the discovery, but we are keeping a hopeful attitude. It is often easy to take for granted that most of the drugs that keep us alive for so long were created from the discovery of Primus lifeforms. And now, more than ever, we need something new to fight off the G.R.N.D virus that has been tormenting us for the past 45 years. Our advancements in nanobot technologies are capable of restoring damaged, mutated and infected cells, but the G.R.N.D virus is very quick and stubborn, it outpaces our latest and most advanced nanobots, on top of that new strains keep appearing ore frequently... For my sister’s sake, for everyone's sake. This is feeling like chasing a tail, I am tired...

The ships seem to have capsules of biological matter. What was or is the purpose of capsules is yet uncertain. Perhaps their “Voyager” esque approach? After I got back to the ship, we conducted some simple biological analysis – discovered extraterrestrial cells were tested against G.R.N.D – to our surprise the cells appear to be resilient to every malignant virus, bacteria, fungi when tested against our ship’s database. Looks promising, but we will perform more in-depth checks once we get back to our base.

This is hard to believe! The newly discovered alien cells are indeed resistant to anything we have in our database, including G.R.N.D... Our bio-analysis & research team has determined, that the cells, with their outstanding resistance, come with a tremendous caveat –they seem to be unable to reproduce. We have delegated a team of our best scientists to design and deploy nanobots, fine-tuned for recreating the cells. If we manage that, we can try to restructure people's cells, that are infected by G.R.N.D virus, into the alien cells.

Coincidentally recently an unidentified space object, which appears to be a Dyson sphere around a white dwarf star, has shown itself in our space surveying satellites. It was just confirmed, that it is approaching our colony in a straight line, defying laws of physics. According to news media all over, general public sees this occasion as an extraterrestrial recognition, that our latest advancements in biotech have proved our intelligence. I have a very weird feeling about this...
